FINANCIAL GIFTS

Financial donations of any amount to The Village at Glencliff support our medical respite program by funding:

  • Medical Respite Care grant beds for people coming to us directly from the hospital;

  • Healthy, fresh meals prepared in our kitchen and groceries for residents who are able to cook;

  • Healthy Living programming for our residents including physical therapy, nutrition and cooking classes, and household budgeting;

  • Tiny-House maintenance and upkeep, move-in items (bedding, towels, toiletries, kitchen and pantry items), utilities, and;

  • Operations and staffing: guiding our residents’ housing navigation, helping them achieve their benefits, and preparing them for independent living after they move into permanent housing!

IN-KIND GIFTS

Below is our current wishlist of new or gently used items.

  • Fully stocked first aid kits

  • Garden hats (wide-brimmed or baseball hats)

  • Small garden stool (for people who cannot kneel to weed)

  • Electric can opener

  • Laminator

  • Shredder

  • Space Bags

  • Heavy Duty Outdoor Extension Cords

  • Power Cord Covers

  • Hair brushes

  • Bandanas

  • Blender

  • Toaster or toaster oven 

  • Crockpot

  • Mixing bowls

  • Water purification filter (ex. Brita)

  • Gently Used Dishes (preferably non-breakable or sturdy)

  • Coffee maker

  • Gently used Pitchers (non-breakable) to make tea or lemonade

  • Knives for training in community kitchen

  • Knife case

  • Large utensil organizer for spatulas, tongs, etc.

  • Duvets / Comforters that can be washed

  • Buckets (either like Lowe’s work buckets or for mopping)

  • Art supplies

  • Gently used Induction Pots and pans of all sizes with non-metal spatulas

  • Slotted spoons for cooking, serving

  • Gently used office supplies (ex. three ring binders, folders, clear plastic bins)
